Our Staff Braai with Our Groundsmen is an annual tradition.
Each year, we take a moment away from the day-to-day operations to recognise and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our groundsmen – the backbone of the complexes we manage – the eyes and ears on site.
This year’s Annual Staff Braai was once again held in the beautiful coastal setting of Grotto Bay. With its ocean views, fresh sea air, and peaceful natural surroundings, it provided the perfect backdrop for the team to relax, connect, and enjoy time together outside of their usual routines.
On the menu were steaks grilled over the fire, served with fresh, crisp salads – simple, hearty, and always a favourite. While the meal is enjoyed by all, the true value of the day lies in the conversations shared, the stories exchanged, and the opportunity to strengthen connections across the team.
More than just a social gathering, this event is a meaningful way to acknowledge the important role our grounds crew plays in maintaining the standards our clients expect. Their consistency, pride in their work, and attention to detail are evident in every complex they care for. We are incredibly grateful for the contribution they make every day.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to our portfolio managers, who work closely with the grounds teams throughout the year. Their collaboration, communication, and support help ensure that each complex is well managed and that operations run smoothly.
